Sola Squad

This is a tower defense game where the goal is to save captured cute animals who are trapped inside mind controlling eggs!

Game Design 

The way you play is by 1) Click on the tool you want to buy, 2) click where you want to place the turret tool, and 3) pop balloons automatically with turret. As you destroy evil eggs, you get more money to buy more weapons to destroy more eggs and get more points and.... yeah.... you .... your goal is to save all the cute animals! Don't think to hard about it! 

Art
The animals were designed by us as well as the canvas and the 3D models. The tools used include blender and Maya as well as unity3D's basic cube and block system.

Programming design 
All you need is your mouse and your wits! We used a Machine learning system adjust the types of balloons you face in level 2 based on how you play in level 1. This neuronet was made using DIGIT and Tensorflow for a model.  The rest of the program was made in C#.

UX / UI 

I made all the information surface level unlike other tower defense games like balloon tower defense to minimize the number of clicks anyone should need to do. This will be helpful as the ML system will keep trying to make other levels harder so a clear UI was essential.
